The Nationwide Association for Health and Fitness (NAHF) is a non-revenue group that exists to improve the standard of life for individuals in the United States by way of the promotion of bodily health, sports and healthy life. Fitness means being able to perform bodily activity. It also means having the vitality and power to feel nearly as good as doable. Getting healthier, even a little bit bit, can improve your health.
NAHF was based in 1979 by staff of the President’s Council on Physical Health and Sports activities. NAHF accomplishes this work by fostering and supporting Governor’s and State Councils and coalitions that promote and encourages regular physical exercise.
